FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does Greek yogurt do for chicken?

The lactic acid and calcium help break down the protein in the chicken making it super tender and moist.

Can you marinate chicken in yogurt too long?

Chicken can be marinated in yogurt up to 24 hours without becoming mushy.

Do I wipe off yogurt marinade?

Don’t rinse or wipe off the chicken pieces or you will remove most of the flavor. If the pieces are very moist, simply allow the pieces to drain briefly in a colander.

What do I serve with this recipe?

If following a lower carb diet, choose non-starchy veggies like green beans, broccoli or a salad. Otherwise, this recipe pairs well with most grain dishes and a side veggie or two.
